Rock Street WW Extension & Pedestrian Bridge

Location: Rock Street from 3rd to the North San Gabriel River.

Traffic Impacts: Rock Street from Blue Hole Park to Third Street will be closed. The hike and bike trail will be closed  from Austin Ave to Blue Hole Park. The Park will be open. 

Duration:From Summer of 2009 to Spring of 2010

Scope: This project will consists of approximately 630 linear-feet of 15-inch PVC pipe by bore, 160 linear-feet of 15-inch PVC pipe by open trench, 694 linear-feet of 12-inch PVC pipe by open trench, demolition of a lift station, 355 cubic-yards of asphalt concrete paving, and the construction of a low-water crossing pedestrian bridge on the South Fork of the San Gabriel River at Blue Hole Park. The bridge will be part of the City’s hike and bike trail network.

Current Status: Contractor has completed the bore under the river and started the bore under Austin Ave. work on pedestrian bridge is complete need to complete masonry work.

Cost: $1,143,994
