Hi Mariann,
The times will be 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday. Saturday 9 a.m. -9 p.m. and closed on Sundays.
Wow! These pictures are incredible. I love that the city is providing us with such a wonderful facility, and that Georgetown prioritizes interesting architecture. No plain brown boxes in our town. Thanks for the update! I’m writing about you on my website, HometownGeorgetown.com, to help you get the word out.

The pictures look great! I would look forward to visiting the new facilities. What are the membership fees? Any consideration for low income families? Also will there be racket ball courts? (I’ve always wanted to learn to play) Thanks!
Hi Cindy,
Please go to the following link to get the rates.http://blogs.georgetown.org/files/2009/01/rec-ctr-grand-opening-rates-1-1-09.pdf
Please call me to discuss “park bucks” as an option for financial assistance.
There are 2 racquetball courts and we will have introductory classes in the future.
When will the racquetball courts be open?
Hi Marc,
They are doing the final “touch-up” items on the racquetball courts. We anticipate that they will open in early May. Thanks!
The courts look great! Any plans to place benches in the hall?
Thanks Marc! Unfortunately, we had to take out the old benches due to the fire code. At this point, we’re not allowed to put them back in. We hope that you enjoy the courts!

My family and I can’t wait for the new rec center to open! Has it been decided if it will be open on Sundays? That would be great! Thank you.
